The first book on my TBR is Watcher in the Woods by Kelley Armstrong. I started reading the series because I totally fell in love with another book she wrote a while ago (Aftermath Review) and I really wanted to check out more of her work. I requested this ARC on NetGalley not really realizing it was part of a series so I had to start the series before I could read this one lol. And, I totally love the series! There’s the great mystery/thriller aspect as well as romance, so I’m always invested in the book. I highly recommend it and I can’t wait to share my reviews on the books soon! I’m currently halfway through the book so I’ll probably be done with it in the next day or so!

Most of the books on my list are actually books I need to read for NetGalley that I’m way overdue on (sorry!) so just be aware of that. The Deceivers is one of those books–as well as The Everlasting Rose, Four Dead Queens, and Second Star.

I’m actually really excited about The Everlasting Rose more than the others simply because the rest are standalones or first in a series so I haven’t formed any opinions on it. With The Everlasting Rose, however, it’s part of a series that I’ve already started so I’m super excited to get back into it (especially after that mindblowing ending).

I also added two other books to my list that are part of series that I need to continue/finish. One is Two Dark Reigns and the other is Blue Lily, Lily Blue. I’ve really enjoyed both series so far and I’m glad to be finally getting around to continuing them!

And since so many of these books are sequels, it aligned perfectly with the theme (“Sequel September”) for the month in the Devour Your TBR group on Goodreads! So I just went ahead and added them under that category so I can keep track of how many I finish that apply.

Finally, as an added bonus (it’s not in the picture), I checked out Addicted to YA on Goodreads and it looks like they’re reading Wicked Fox this month. It’s a book I added to my Goodreads Want to Read list so I figured if I had time or needed a break from some other book this month that maybe I could switch over to that. Because sometimes I set out a TBR and still go off list because I get in the mood to read something else lol.
