“Standalone Books That Need a Sequel”

(I don’t read many standalones so it’s really a Top 5 Tuesday lol)

Cayleth Warding and the Scarlet One

This book was sooooooooo confusing. I wanted answers the whole book and instead of clearing things up the ending just made me have a whole new batch of questions. I feel like it really needs a sequel to explain everything and show me what was really going on.

Aftermath

This book was so great. It was heart-breaking and emotional but full of love and hope. I really loved it and I would love to see a sequel with the Skye and Jesse exploring their relationship more ❤

Anger is a Gift

This book doesn’t really need a sequel? But at the same time, I feel like I’d want to see how the characters deal with everything that happened in this one. It’s about social justice so I feel like you can always write more about this.

Like Never and Always

I loved the romance so much in this one! I would want to see more of Liv and Clay, for sure! Or maybe even follow Nathan’s life instead and have him find someone to fall in love with too.

Beneath the Citadel

This had such an interesting storyline! I would’ve loved to see more of the world since it was so contained to one place. I think I’d like to see what happened to the rest of the characters after the ending and everything with Cassa.

Do you prefer standalones or series?

    1. I didn’t even think about that, but yeah! I think I’d like that best because sometimes looking at a series (however cool it sounds) I find myself not looking forward to reading/buying so many books. With standalones you get to choose if you really want to read all of them.
